Register Now for Tri-County Water School

Tri-County Water School is designed to educate community leaders, natural resource managers, and decision makers about current issues and future concerns regarding water quality, quantity, and conservation in Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough counties. The aim is to encourage improved public policy decisions relative to water issues in these counties and throughout Florida.

When?
Critical Water Issues Workshop for Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough Counties
Tues-Wed, September 11-12, 2012

Brooker Creek Preserve, 3941 Keystone Road, Tarpon Springs 33468

Who Should Attend?
• Public officials (both elected and appointed)
• Community leaders
• Natural resource planners and managers

Keynote speaker is Chris Martinez from UF Water Institute; field trips to Keller Water Treatment facility in Tarpon Springs and Tampa Bay Seawater Desal Plant.

The cost for the two-day course is $20, and includes, luncheons, materials and field trips. Registration is now open online. The course is limited to 40 participants, and is made possible through sponsorship from the Southwest Florida Water Management District. For more information, call (727) 453-6905.
