Regional Climate Town Hall at USF Feb. 19th

The Florida Climate Institute will host the National Climate Assessment Southeast Regional Town Hall Meeting at the University of South Florida's Patel College for Global Sustainability on Tuesday, Feb. 19, for a daylong discussion on the state of climate change in the region and future assessment efforts.

This meeting will bring together approximately 100 climate change experts and users of climate change information, including participants from academia; local, state, tribal, and federal governments; non-profit organizations; and business and industry.The meeting seeks to identify concrete actions that are taking place or could take place at the regional, sector, and/or national level; what capacities already exist; what capacities are needed; and how to develop those capacities. Draft findings from the Third National Climate Assessment Report will be presented.
